Information for Parents & Guardians

The Benefits:
Apart from learning customer service and social skills the program is devised is such a way for full time students that they will find that they will require at least 20 hours extra per week out of class to complete the program. Additionally we arrange training at properties outside of class time and this will manage students' time appropriately while students are overseas. In UK, Australia or USA their time will be spent in constructive activities and their time accounted for. In other courses students will find excessive time that is at their disposal and will not be utilized appropriately. Our Train & Earn scheme prevents this wastage of time.

Professionalism:
In Singapore we maintain a code of conduct where lecturers are here at CE to impart knowledge. We do not encourage any outside social interaction between students and staff. We are here to educate only and our interest is in the educational development of the student.

Evaluations:

Parents and guardians can request for weekly test results of their ward. Students also provide us with monthly evaluations that are given to the school’s management to assess. Parents and Guardians can also request for a three way conference between student, parent and school. Parents or Guardians are informed of any constant absenteeism and asked to comment. While we do our best to take into account the individual traits and habits of students we expect parents and guardians to heed our advice where educational development is concerned.

Frequently Asked Questions: HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA

  1. Are the Programs recognised?

Exams, marking etc come from the USA; The Award also comes from the USA. Exams are the same exams as those sitting for example in Canada.

You can apply for any of the banks or try credit co-operatives like TCC. Foreign students would need to apply from their home country, and the school will provide letters of acceptance for bank loan purposes.

We have monthly intakes. Always try and apply one month prior to commencement of courses in order to secure a seat. Foreign applicants would have to apply at least six weeks before commencement to meet immigration requirements.

In this course it is not whether you can score 100% and be an academic genius. You have to put what you have learnt in the workplace, which is where it counts. 14. Are these jobs guaranteed?
So long as you perform well you will have no problem. If you work below average then you will be asked to leave. Its all up to you and how much effort you want to put and contribute. Like any other job, there is no security unless you perform well.
